Alienware and Twitch are transforming New York City’s Grand Central Terminal into a one-of-a-kind gaming experience, giving fans a chance to step into new digital worlds. The interactive event runs during Halloween week, October 27–31, and merges physical and digital gameplay for participants in the city and viewers at home.
Gaming Meets Reality
The experience, held in Vanderbilt Hall, centers around The Alienware Artifact, an otherworldly installation that transports visitors into immersive gameplay. Participants navigate fast-paced puzzles, work in teams, and experience stunning visual and sound effects that make the familiar space of Grand Central feel like a portal to another dimension.
For those outside NYC, Twitch streams bring the experience online. Four top Twitch creators — RealKatieB, Ludwig, Valkyrae, and Symfuhny — guide their communities through challenges that interact with the installation in real time. Completing tasks triggers lights, sounds, and events within The Artifact, creating a hybrid experience connecting digital and physical worlds.
A Celebration of Gaming Communities
Alienware and Twitch have built their reputations as leaders in gaming. Alienware provides high-performance hardware, while Twitch is the global hub for gamers and creators. Together, they created this event to honor gamers, showcase creators, and give fans an interactive way to experience gaming beyond the screen.
The week concludes with a multi-stream finale, where creators and their communities compete head-to-head in a “King of the Hill” style challenge to restore balance to the rift inside The Artifact.
