Netflix will livestream NASA’s official coverage of the Artemis II lunar flyby scheduled for Monday, April 6, 2026, beginning at 1 p.m. EST.
The stream will carry NASA’s broadcast of the Orion spacecraft’s closest approach to the Moon as the four-person crew completes a multi-day journey around the Moon without landing.
According to NASA, the live coverage will be available on Netflix as well as NASA+, YouTube, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, and Peacock.
NASA’s live events page lists the lunar flyby broadcast starting at 1 p.m. EST on multiple platforms including Netflix.
Artemis II is the first crewed mission in NASA’s Artemis program. The crew consists of NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman (commander), Victor Glover, Christina Koch, along with Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen.

NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman posted the message on X on April 4, 2026, while the crew was en route to the Moon.
The approximately 10-day test flight launched on April 1, 2026, aboard the Space Launch System rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. During the lunar flyby, the crew will conduct observations and capture high-resolution imagery, including of the lunar far side.
The mission is testing the Orion spacecraft’s life support systems and other capabilities with humans aboard for the first time. It serves as a key step toward NASA’s goal of returning humans to the lunar surface and preparing for eventual missions to Mars.
Following the lunar flyby, the crew is scheduled to return to Earth with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego around April 10 or 11, 2026.
