Pornhub copies TikTok launching a scrollable vertical video feed

Pornhub has introduced a new feature called Shorties, a mobile-optimized, scroll-based video experience that closely mirrors the format popularized by TikTok and other short-form video platforms.

The feature promotes vertically filmed videos and allows users to swipe through content in a continuous feed, according to the company’s help documentation. When viewers click on a video, they are redirected to the creator’s profile page, where they can explore additional content.

Shorties is designed primarily for mobile devices and appears throughout the platform in carousel formats on model profiles, the homepage, and other sections of the site. Users can access the feature through the main menu.

The launch represents the adult entertainment platform’s latest effort to adapt to changing content consumption habits, particularly among mobile users who have grown accustomed to the vertical, swipeable video format that has dominated social media in recent years.

The feature gives content creators on the platform a new way to reach viewers through short-form content while driving traffic back to their full profiles. The scroll-based interface is optimized for quick browsing sessions, a departure from the platform’s traditional longer-form video library.
